Vegas to host All Elite Wrestling's first event

Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega headline Double or Nothing

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will headline the Double or Nothing event when All Elite Wrestling makes its pay-per-view debut Saturday, May 23, in Las Vegas. B/R Live will stream the inaugural event, which sold out in under 30 minutes, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

In addition to the Jericho-Omega match, the card will include:

  • A brotherly matchup of Cody Rhodes vs. Dustin Rhodes
  • The Young Bucks vs. the Lucha Bros for the AAA World Tag Team Championship
  • Britt Baker, Nyla Rose and Kylie Rae competing in a three-way match
  • SoCal Uncensored vs. Cima, T-Hawk & El Lindaman in a six-man tag match

The event can be purchased at B/R Live for $49.99.

The Buy-In, an hour-long live pre-show special, will stream on YouTube and other social channels one hour before the main event, 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. It includes the first Casino (Battle) Royale, in which 21 wrestlers will enter the ring in waves of five every 3 minutes, followed by the final entrant (Lucky 21) fighting until there is one winner. The Buy-In winner will receive a future title shot against the first AEW world champion. Participants include including Jimmy Havoc, Billy Gunn, MJF and Jungle Boy. The Buy-In also will feature Sammy Guevara and Kip Sabian facing off.
