Question from Sara Whitney:
Now that Tommy Rizzoli is coming back into the picture, will it cause tension in the Rizzoli household?
You bet. Tommy is a loveable screw up who is a magnet for trouble. He'll be attracting more of it in upcoming episodes. Poor Jane ...
Question from Frances Palugod:
Janet, did you predict that Angie and Sasha would have so much chemistry? Did you expect how much they would click so fast?
The very first time I saw them read together, I was struck by the ease, warmth and humor that seemed to blossom between them as they played the scene. Think back to when you were the "new girl" at school (if you ever were). I moved a lot as a kid, so I was the "new girl" a lot. Every so often, I'd meet someone and know instantly, "We're gonna be good friends – and this girl is going to save my life." You're a little over-dramatic when you're 11 – and you've moved across the country to start school with people who've been together since Kindergarten.
But that's what happened with these two actors: BAM. Chemistry. Humor. So, yes, we all knew we'd found a match for Angie (who was the first actor cast). Did we know it would translate to this much chemistry onscreen? No. How lucky are we?
