Judy Goldstein

Judy Goldstein, a native of Aberdeen, Wash., began her professional career as a dancer and choreographer in New York City. After leaving the dance world, she remained in New York, where she stage managed and produced a number of off-Broadway musicals and plays with stars such as Lynn Redgrave, Treat Williams and Rita Rudner.
Resettling on the West Coast, Goldstein held script development and executive positions for a number of producers and production companies, including the Robert Stigwood Organization. In the mid 1980s she and Larry Spiegel formed Appledown Films. Among the films she has since produced are Phobia, directed by John Huston; Sunchaser; and Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.
Some of the future projects which Goldstein will produce are Café Berlin, a film based on the life of R&B star Jackie Wilson, and Dove Against Death.
