Bob Newhart
Q: What attracted you to THE LIBRARIAN: QUEST FOR THE SPEAR?
A: I first spoke with Dean Devlin, then I read the script. I loved it and thought it was an extremely high quality script. It also doesn't take itself too seriously. There are a number of light moments in the story, and it's kind of spoofing the action-adventure genre - I enjoyed that. And the lushness of the locations is very rich. It looks like how the genre is supposed to be.
Q: What was it like shooting your first on-screen fight scene?
A: My fight scene is very well choreographed. It's very complicated, but I just did what the stunt coordinator told me to do and it looks like I'm highly trained in karate. It looks great.
Q: How do you hope audiences will react to this movie?
A: I hope they see the fun we had doing it. I just hope they enjoy watching it.
