Kelly Hu
("Lana")

Kelly Hu, a black belt in karate, most recently starred with Jet Li and DMX in the action film Cradle 2 the Grave and she will next star with Nick Cannon in Miramax Films Underclassmen. Her other film credits include X2: X-Men United; Scorpion King, opposite The Rock; Oliver Stone's The Doors; and No Way Back, opposite Russell Crowe.

Born in Honolulu of Chinese, Hawaiian and English ancestry, Hu always wanted to be an actress. Determined to begin her career, she catapulted into the spotlight in 1985 when crowned Miss Teen USA and, in 1993, Miss Hawaii USA. Hu went on to become a finalist in the Miss USA Pageant. Her exposure in contests led to modeling assignments and her first acting job, a guest-star role on the television series Growing Pains. She then starred as a series regular in the action dramas Martial Law and Nash Bridges.
