Kyle MacLachlan

Kyle MacLachlan most recently starred as Cary Grant in Sony Pictures Classics' Touch of Pink. He made his feature debut in the futuristic drama Dune, followed by his breakthrough role as Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet. MacLachlan appeared in the independent films Miranda, Without You, and starred alongside Ethan Hawke in Miramax's Hamlet. He was also featured in Mike Figgis' experimental film Timecode and previously worked with Figgis on the film One Night Stand, with Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr. MacLachlan's other film credits include The Trigger Effect, The Flintstones, Showgirls, The Doors, The Hidden, The Trial and Rich in Love. He is perhaps best known for his performance as FBI Agent Dale Cooper in David Lynch's popular series Twin Peaks, for which MacLachlan received two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe award. He also played the role of Charlotte's ideal man and heart surgeon Dr. Trey MacDougal on the acclaimed HBO series Sex and the City. His other television credits include HBO's award-winning telefilm Against the Wall and Showtime's original film Roswell. MacLachlan made his directorial debut in 1993 with an episode of the darkly comic hit HBO series Tales From the Crypt.

Most recently, MacLachlan made his Broadway debut as Aston in Harold Pinter's drama The Caretaker. Directed by David Jones, he acted alongside Patrick Stewart and Aidan Gillen. He also starred on the London stage, playing opposite Woody Harrelson in On an Average Day. The play finished a successful 14-week run at the Comedy Theatre in London's West End.
