Bernard Hill

Bernard Hill is a noted British actor with a wide array of film, television and theater experience. His most recent feature film credits include the Oscar®-winning The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King as Theoden; Gothika; The Boys of County Clare; and The Scorpion King. Hill's other film credits include Titanic, True Crime and Midsummer Night's Dream. His next project will be the romantic comedy Wimbledon. Hill's numerous television roles include Great Expectations, Mill on the Floss and Shepherds on the Rock. He has acted in many BBC projects, such as Dirty Something, Once Upon a Time in the North, Trilogy, Shrinks, The Gospel According to St. Luke, The Burston Rebellion, Squaring the Circle, Antigone and The Chain. Hill's theater experience includes A View from the Bridge at Bristol Old Vic/Strand, Gasping at Haymarket Theatre, The Cherry Orchard at Aldwych, Macbeth at Leicester Haymarket and Shortlist, Twelfth Night and Normal Service, all at the Hampstead Theatre.
