"Goodbye Girl"
(Performed by Hootie & the Blowfish)

Grammy® Award-winning artists Hootie & The Blowfish have recorded a remake of David Gates' 1978 hit single "Goodbye Girl" to accompany the new TNT Original film NEIL SIMON'S THE GOODBYE GIRL, starring Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Jeff Daniels. The music video for "Goodbye Girl" features the band, Heaton and clips from the film. The video is directed by Kyle Cooper and will be used to promote NEIL SIMON'S THE GOODBYE GIRL, including a run in Regal Cinemas nationwide throughout December. The song is produced by Spencer Proffer.

With the rich, bluesy vocals of Darius Rucker and gleeful harmonies of guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber and drummer Jim Sonefeld, Hootie & the Blowfish, from Columbia, S.C., sold more than 25 million records worldwide after their infectious melodies hit the airwaves in 1994. The two-time Grammy®-Award-winning band remains dedicated to their music and fans. After a four-year break from recording to raise families, Hootie & the Blowfish released their fourth studio album last March, simply titled Hootie and the Blowfish. Now they're back with all cylinders firing, having delivered "the best record we've ever made," to quote guitarist Mark Bryan. "We're all excited to be back in the swing of things."
