Patricia Heaton is a gifted actress, celebrated for her role on CBS' Everybody Loves Raymond, for which she has garnered two consecutive Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Her feature film credits include Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Beethoven, New Age and Space Jam. Heaton's television credits include regular roles on the series Room for Two, Someone Like Me and Women of the House; a role on the critically acclaimed series Thirtysomething; and starring roles in the telefilms Miracle in the Woods, with Della Reese, and A Town Without Christmas.
Her successful acting career began with her Broadway debut in the musical Don't Get Started. She then formed Stage Three, an acting company that produced off-Broadway plays. The company took The Johnstown Vindicator to Los Angeles, where Heaton's performance caught the eyes of casting directors.
Her first book, Motherhood and Hollywood, established Heaton as a best-selling author, chronicling her life with a collection of touching and humorous essays.
Heaton lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor/producer David Hunt, and their four sons.
