Philip Jackson has appeared in several British film, television and theatre productions. His feature film credits include The Intended; Alien Love Triangle; What Rats Won't Do; Little Voice, for which the cast received a SAG Award nomination; Cousin Bette; Opium War; Brassed Off; The Last Dance; Bad Behavior; High Hopes; The Fourth Protocol; Give My Regards to Broad Street; and Scum. Jackson's many television credits include the telefilms The Cruise of the Gods, Trust, Crime and Punishment, Silent Witness, An Inspector Calls, Sins, The Vice, Murder Most Horrid, Touch of Frost, Heartbeat, The Last Salute and Corn Devils. He also starred as Inspector Japp in the telefilms based on the Agatha Christie character Hercule Poirot, Poirot: Evil Under the Sun, Poirot: Lord Edgeware Dies, Poirot: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and Hercule Poirot's Casebook.
Jackson has performed in various theater productions, including A Carpet, A Pony & A Monkey and The Oven Glove Murders at the Bush Theatre; King Lear, Ice Cream, Rat in the Scull, Live Like Pigs, Millenium and Dick Whittington and His Cat for the Royal Court; and Sergeant Musgraves Dance and The Passion at The Royal National Theatre.
