Powers Boothe's recent feature film credits include Frailty, opposite Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey, and Men of Honor, starring Robert De Niro and Cuba Gooding Jr. His other film credits include U-Turn, Mutant Species, Nixon, Sudden Death, Blue Sky, Tombstone, Rapid Fire, Extreme Prejudice, The Emerald Forrest, Red Dawn, A Breed Apart, Southern Comfort and Cruising. Boothe's television credits include the miniseries Attila, Joan of Arc, True Women, Family of Spies and Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones, for which he received an Emmy® Award for his portrayal of the minister who led the settlers of Jonestown, Guyana, to mass suicide in the late 1970s. He also appeared in the telefilms A Crime of Passion, The Spree, Dalva, Web of Deception, Marked For Murder, Wild Card, Sapphire Man, By Dawn's Early Light, Into the Homeland, The Plutonium Incident and Skag, in both the telefilm and series. He also starred in the lead role in the HBO series Philip Marlowe, Private Eye.
Boothe's theatre credits include the Broadway production of James McClure's one-act comedy Lone Star.
