Russell J. Kagan is the principle owner and president of International Program Consultants, Inc. (IPC), which has for the past 20 years provided consulting, production, sales, and marketing services to the global entertainment industry specializing in the areas of home video, digital pay-TV platforms, television station planning and start up, U.S. and international television program distribution and global television co-productions. IPC has been responsible for the U.S. co-production development and television sales of such leading television programming as the TNT Bible series, including the acclaimed telefilms Abraham, Moses, David and the Emmy®-winning Joseph. In addition, Kagan and IPC have been responsible for such long running series as Discovery Channel's Beyond 2000 and Disney's KIDS Incorporated. Their specials include Andrea Doria: The Final Chapter, the Peabody Award-winning Great Wall of Iron and NBC's presentation of Atlantis. Kagan, along with Lorenzo Minoli and Five Mile River Films, Ltd., produced the highly acclaimed telefilm Nicholas' Gift, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Alan Bates and the highly rated miniseries Jesus, which was nominated for an Emmy®. Prior to taking over IPC, Kagan was president of Swedish media conglomerate Kinnevik's U.S. subsidiary Kinnevik Media Ventures.
