Uli Edel

Uli Edel has garnered several international awards and nominations for his film work. He was honored with a Montreal World Film Award for Christine F, and Last Exit to Brooklyn received both the New York and Chicago Film Critic Circle Awards. Edel's most recent theatrical film was The Little Vampire. He has also directed several television series, including Tales from the Crypt, Twin Peaks, Homicide: Life on the Street and Oz, as well as the telefilms Confessions of a Sorority Girl and Tyson. Edel also directed the TNT miniseries The Mists of Avalon, which received an Emmy® Award and WGA, SAG and Golden Globe® nominations; and the telefilms Purgatory, Rasputin, which received three Emmys® and three Golden Globes® and, most recently, King of Texas.
