Valeria Golino

Valeria Golino began her career as a model in Rome. In 1983, she made her film debut in A Joke of Destiny and played the leading role in Little Fire. In the next year, she won the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival for Storia d'amore. After some European co-productions including Last Summer in Tangiers, The Gold-Rimmed Glasses, and Love and Fear, she launched her Hollywood career with Big Top Pee-wee. Her other American film credits include Rain Man, Leaving Las Vegas, Hot Shots!, Hot Shots! Part Deux, Escape from L.A., Immortal Beloved, Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her and, most recently, Frida. She can next be seen in the European feature film Prendimi.
Golino is an International actor with careers in the United States, Europe, and Italy and speaks Italian, Greek, French and English.
