Academy Award® winner Christopher Walken recently received an Oscar®nomination for his role in Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can. His upcoming works include Barry Levinson's Envy, with Ben Stiller and Jack Black; Martin Brest's Gigli, with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez; and Universal Pictures' Helldorado. Walken won the 1978 Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actor in Michael Cimino's The Deer Hunter. He has starred as many unforgettable characters in movies such as Annie Hall, Pennies From Heaven, The Dead Zone, At Close Range, Biloxi Blues, King of New York, America's Sweethearts, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Suicide Kings, Sleepy Hollow, and Batman Returns. On television, Walken has hosted Saturday Night Live five times since 1990 and contributed a mesmerizing dance performance for Fat Boy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" music video. He also wrote and directed the short film "Popcorn Shrimp", which premiered on Showtime.

As a child, Walken trained to be a dancer at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan and went on to appear in numerous stage plays and musicals. He received the Clarence Derwent Award for his performance in Broadway's The Lion in Winter, an Obie Award for The Seagull, a Theatre World Award for The Rose Tattoo, and The Susan Shiva Award for his work with the Joseph Papp's Public Theatre. He also starred in James Joyce's stage adaptation of The Dead and appeared in a revival of The Seagull for the New York Shakespeare Festival, opposite Meryl Streep and Natalie Portman.
