Charles Barkley

Sir Charles returns as a studio analyst on TNT and TBS Superstation for the
2001-2002 NBA season.
Career
He began his legendary career with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1984 and was
traded to the Phoenix Suns prior to the 1992-93 season.
After four seasons with Phoenix, Barkley was traded to the Houston Rockets in
August of 1996.
Always an intriguing personality who gives memorable quotes, Barkley has been
on the NBA All-Interview First Team five times.
Is 13th on the all-time NBA scoring list and joined Wilt Chamberlain as the
only player in NBA history with more than 23,000 points, 12,000 rebounds and
4,000 assists.
Won the NBA's MVP Award in 1993 and is a five-time All-NBA
first team selection.
Was selected to 11 All-Star teams, winning game MVP honors
in 1991.
Was the leading scorer for the gold medal-winning 1992 and 1996 Olympic Dream
Teams.
Retired following the 1999-2000 NBA season after 16 exciting
years in the league.

Resides in Sugar Land, Texas with wife, Maureen, and daughter, Christiana.
Has appeared in the movies Hot Shots!
(1991), Look Who's Talking Now (1993), Forget Paris (1995), Space Jam (1996), and He Got Game (1998).
Loves to play golf and frequently participates in celebrity events for charity.
