Brian Bird

Brian Bird is currently serving as co-executive producer and senior writer on the Emmy-nominated television series Touched By an Angel. He wrote the screenplay for the feature film Bopha!, starring Danny Glover. His television credits include the telefilm Captive Heart: The James Mink Story, as well as episodes of the series Step By Step, Evening Shade, The Family Man and Fantasy Island. As an independent producer, Bird's Dove Canyon Films is in pre-production on Butterfly Kisses, inspired by the Grammy Award-winning song of the same title, and New World High, an apocalyptic thriller set on a high school campus. Currently in development is The Deaths of Sybil Bolton, his film adaptation of the book by Washington Post editor Dennis McAuliffe, Jr.
