Paul Mooney earned Grammy Award nominations for his critically acclaimed comedy albums Race and Masterpiece. He was the head writer for comedic legends Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx and Eddie Murphy. He was also the head writer for the television series In Living Color, Saturday Night Live, The Richard Pryor Show, Good Times and Sanford and Son and wrote the feature film Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling, starring Richard Pryor. Mooney's film credits also include his performances in Spike Lee's Bamboozled; In the Army Now, starring Pauly Shore; and Robert Townsend's Hollywood Shuffle.
