Bill Carter wrote HBO's Emmy®-nominated telefilm The Late Shift and the book on which the telefilm is based. He co-wrote the book Monday Night Mayhem: The Inside Story of ABC's Monday Night Football with Marc Gunther. In addition to screenwriting, Carter also works as a journalist for The New York Times.
