Kevin Spacey
(Host)
As a child the Academy Award®-winning actor was a self-confessed "little
terror," who burned down his sister's treehouse. After a stint in
Northridge Military Academy (from which he was expelled), his energies were
channeled into acting in high school. Spacey went on to attend Julliard in
New York and performed on stage. He made his film debut as the subway
thief in the movie Heartburn and since then his star has continued
to rise with an array of complex roles in critically acclaimed films such
as Glengarry Glen Ross, The Usual Suspects, L.A.
Confidential and American Beauty. Later this year he will star
in The Shipping News, a film based on Annie Proulx's Pulitzer Prize
winning novel and also also plays the title role in the 2002 release The
Life of David Gale.
