Jeffrey Hayes

Jeffrey Hayes has 27 years of experience as a writer, director, producer and studio executive of over 500 hours of network, cable and syndicated television production. His television series credits include T.J. Hooker, Star Trek: The Next Generation, MacGyver, Cheers, Flipper, Family Ties and Mission Impossible. Hayes also worked on the telefilms Official Denial; The Thirteenth Floor; Dirty Work; USA's Meteorite; NBC's The Flood; HBO's In Pursuit of Honor, starring Don Johnson; Showtime's Sahara, starring Jim Belushi; the CBS miniseries The Thornbirds: The Missing Years, starring Richard Chamberlain; ABC's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, starring Michael Caine and Bryan Brown; and TBS' Counterstrike, starring Rob Estes. Since forming Coote/Hayes Productions in 1998, Hayes has worked on the television series Beastmaster and The Lost World, along with the telefilms Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Fearless. His recent remake of the classic On the Beach earned a Golden Globe nomination and won the AFI Award for Best Mini-Series.
