George Clooney
(Dr. Douglas Ross)

Dr. Douglas Ross is a handsome pediatric emergency fellow, whose passionate commitment to his patients often drives him to impulsive action, regardless of hospital protocol. A turbulent family history combined with the unyielding pressures of the job have plagued Ross through a long line of unsuccessful relationships. But in the E.R., whether he's calming a nervous parent's fears or coping with the horrors of an abused child, Ross brings an appealing blend of charm and confidence to the sick and injured children in his care.

Recipient of numberous Emmy, Golden Globe and People's Choice nominations for his work on ER (1994-1999), George Clooney's success has propelled him into a major motion picture career as well. Major film roles include the lead, opposite Nicole Kidman in the first feature film from Dreamworks, The Peacemaker, in addition to Batman and Robin, One Fine Day, From Dusk Till Dawn, Out of Sight, and Three Kings, The Perfect Storm and O Brother Where Art Thou?. Prior to ER Clooney gained popularity with television audiences for his starring roles on such series as the critically acclaimed Sisters, Roseanne, Bodies of Evidence, Sunset Beat, Facts of Life and, ironically, the short-lived comedy E/R. He also guest-starred, along with Noah Wyle, on the hit series Friends and the telefilm Fail Safe. Clooney's other feature film credits include Unbecoming Age, Red Surf, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Return to Horror High, The Predator -- Grizzly II and And They're Off. On stage, Clooney performed in the award-winning Vicious at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre. He also appeared in productions of Wrestlers, The Writer, The Biz, South Pacific and In My Father's House. Clooney's most recent films include Spy Kids, Ocean's Eleven and Welcome to Collinwood.
