Q: Did you see the original movie prior to being cast for this film?
A: I did watch the film a long time ago, but did not view it again after being cast for the role.

Q: How did you prepare for the role?
A: I thought of all the pretentious pseudo-intellectual directors I have worked with in the past.

Q: Most of your scenes were with Jeff Daniels, how was it working with him?
A: Jeff is really lovely. I love the way that he can be completely natural, even in scenes that are absurd. I have been a big fan of his for quite some time.

Q: What was the relationship between your character and Elliot?
A: My character, Mark, patronizes him.
