John Heard

John Heard has become highly sought-after for his versatility and depth as an actor. Since his feature film debut in First Love, he has played everything from a depressed ex-beau in Chilly Scenes of Winter to a devoted father in Home Alone and Home Alone II: Lost in New York. His additional film credits include O, Pollock,Between the Lines, Big, After Hours, The Trip to Bountiful, Heaven Help Us, Beaches, The Milagro Beanfield War, Awakenings, The End of Innocence, Radio Flyer and The Pelican Brief. Heard's many television credits include a guest appearance on HBO's Emmy® Award-winning series The Sopranos, which earned him an Emmy® nomination, and starring roles in TNT's telefilms Monday Night Mayhem and My Fellow Americans. He currently has a recurring role on the CBS hit C.S.I.: Miami.

Heard has appeared on Broadway in Total Abandon and The Glass Menagerie and is a three-time Obie winner for G.R. Point, Othello and Split.
