Jacob Epstein was awarded the 2000 PEN USA Literary Award and the 2000 Peabody Award for the Showtime telefilm Strange Justice, which he wrote and executive-produced. He has also written and produced numerous television series, including Without a Trace, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law and Sliders.
