Dave Karger

Dave Karger, a senior writer for Entertainment Weekly, has been covering movies, music, and television for the magazine since 1995. He’s written cover stories on George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Julianne Moore, Elton John, as well as features on Dennis Quaid, Hilary Swank, Liam Neeson, Ed Harris, Jason Bateman, William Hurt, Ryan Gosling, Laura Linney, Bill Paxton, and Daniel Craig.

Since 2000, Karger has been a regular guest on the Today show on NBC, where he discusses box office, the Oscars and Emmys, and entertainment trends. He has hosted the movie-interview specials The Suite with Dave Karger (AMC) and Reel Comedy (Comedy Central) and has interviewed actors and directors on Access Hollywood, Sundance Channel, and the People’s Choice Awards (CBS). He graduated cum laude from Duke University.
