Natalie Vincent is Dr. Pierce’s best friend and every bit his intellectual equal. According to Pierce's recollection, they met in grad school and although they dated briefly they have remained close platonic friends ever since. However, Pierce wouldn’t mind if they renewed their romance. Their friendship is the closest thing he has ever had to a normal relationship, but as with so many things in Daniel's life, things aren't always what they seem.
