"Someone's got to catch the bad guys. Why not me?" So says Greg Dankers when asked why he became a cop. Dankers catches a lot of bad guys as a member of the Fugitive Unit. He won't back down from any assignment, suspect or situation. But he's also as well-liked as anyone on the force, known for his love of practical jokes and always ready with a quick comeback. Dankers served in Iraq during Operation: Desert Storm. He then joined the Boston Police and wound up marrying fellow cop Nancy Dankers six years ago. Now they work opposite shifts so they can each handle caretaking duties for their 4-year-old twin sons.
