Terrique Chambers has two passions in life: his police work, and his family – which includes his son Jaylen, who is autistic. Terrique, a former Marine, works nights so he can spend more time at home, and he says learning about autism has made him a more patient person – and maybe even a more patient cop. Meanwhile, Terrique's wife Scherlaine, his high school sweetheart, has a newfound love for Crossfit weight training, and her strength has led some of her husband's fellow officers to wonder if she is the strongest member of the family. They have no doubt found strength in each other in confronting autism, and have even talked about starting a cupcake business to raise money and awareness for the issue.
